I had the great fortune to be allowed to paint in the gardens at SunnyLand in Rancho Mirage last week. It was a beautiful sunny day and I had a great time.
The gardens are laid out in a patterns of succulents, agave’s, aloe’s, and cactus. The background is the beautiful mountains, and in the winter you can see the snow crusted caps, after a good rain in the desert.
There were a few others painters, but it was heaven to be able to paint for several hours un-disturbed.
